- Identify and develop new reinsurance opportunities in Spanish-speaking markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and brokers globally.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders. -Conduct presentations and negotiations in Spanish to meet client requirements.
- A candidate should have the best sources or network for getting first-hand updates and information for any upcoming projects.
- A candidate should be able to lead negotiations, have persuasion skills, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to capturing new business.
- A candidate should also have strong ties with insurance companies.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance concepts, treaties, and facultative placements.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international insurance regulations and compliance is an added advantage.
