Job Responsibilities
Identify and develop new reinsurance opportunities in Spanish-speaking markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and brokers globally.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders. -Conduct presentations and negotiations in Spanish to meet client requirements.
A candidate should have the best sources or network for getting first-hand updates and information for any upcoming projects.
A candidate should be able to lead negotiations, have persuasion skills, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to capturing new business.
A candidate should also have strong ties with insurance companies.
Skills
Strong understanding of reinsurance concepts, treaties, and facultative placements.
Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to handle multiple clients and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of international insurance regulations and compliance is an added advantage.
