What Youll Do

BCG has been on a Generative AI journey to transform internal operations powered through cutting edge Generative AI technologies are core to this journey. Thus, we are looking for Generative AI engineers who are passionate about designing, developing, deploying and optimizing Gen AI products at scale.

This role will be hosted in AI Center Of Excellence and individual will be embedded as part of various Digital Products Team to support building key prioritized Generative AI solutions for achieving functional AI/Gen AI vision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop AI/Gen AI projects as individual contributors (IC), from ideation to deployment, ensuring they deliver impactful insights
• Own end-to-end design, development & deployment of machine learning solutions at scale to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Build and train different types of machine learning, deep learning models targeted for specific business outcomes
• Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) to meet specific Generative AI business outcomes
• Share expertise and perspectives on alternate approaches & tools to improve end solution
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, LLM engineers, Full stack AI engineers, QA, product owners and analysts to create and operationalize data pipelines, ensuring compliance with data governance and security requirements
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and successful integration of data-driven insights into business strategies

What Youll Bring

AI/ML & LLM engineering skills

• Overall 7+ years of experience in technology, analytics, data science & AI
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building & deploying AI/ML/Gen AI solutions across wide variety of problems
• 2+ years of experience in building Generative AI products
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative solutions to complex data science challenges
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data science applications
• Proven ability to work with large structured & unstructured datasets and deploy AI/ML/Gen AI solutions through automated pipelines
• Strong technical expertise in Statistics, Machine Learning and deep learning e.g. time series techniques, boosted trees, neural networks, natural language processing (NLP)
• Experience in developing Generative AI based solutions using frameworks e.g. Langchain, Llamaindex to build Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and agent architectures
• Experience in working with variety of LLM models and fine tuning
• Experience in applying MLOps principles to deploy, monitor and enhance AI/ML models
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, guardrails to evaluate and monitor outputs quality, control hallucinations
• Awareness of AI ethical frameworks to ensure responsible AI deployment
• Ability to work iteratively on AI/ML/Gen AI solution to improve performance over period of time and with user feedbacks
• Experience with variety of Python libraries e.g. Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow
• Experience in deploying solutions on a cloud platform - AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
• Expertise in container technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience of CI/CD tools for Data, ML, LLM pipelines
• Experience with microservices architecture, FastAPIs

Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
• Experience working in a fast-paced global company, with a diverse team of both technical and functional backgrounds located in multiple time zones
• Proven ability to operate with a transparent mindset, communicating openly with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing junior data scientists to promote a collaborative and innovative team culture
