We are hiring for Accountant India Accounts & Compliance

Designation: Accountant

Location: Gurugram (onsite)

Shift: 2pm - 11pm IST

5 days working - Sat/Sun fixed off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF/ESIC).
• Prepare and maintain financial statements in line with Indian GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for regulatory filings.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
• Stay updated on Indian tax laws and regulatory guidelines.
• Strengthen internal controls and processes for compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance (CA/MBA in Finance preferred).
• 5 years of experience in Indian accounting and statutory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in IT companies or the staffing industry.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and labor law compliance.
• Prior experience in CA firms.
• Comfortable working onsite from Gurugram office.
