Senior Netsuite Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement customizations and extensions in NetSuite using SuiteScript (2.0 & 1.0), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and other relevant tools.
• Build and maintain custom records, forms, workflows, and reports in NetSuite.
• Design and develop REST and SOAP-based integrations between NetSuite and external systems.
• Integrate NetSuite with third-party applications, such as CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, and other enterprise solutions.
• Analyze and optimize NetSuite performance to ensure the platforms scalability, speed, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers and internal teams.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the NetSuite environment.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing NetSuite solutions and Zone Advanced Billing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of experience as a NetSuite Developer, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics for developing custom solutions that cater to multi-subsidiary business needs.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex NetSuite customizations and integrations.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including ERP, CRM, Financials, Order Management, and Inventory Management(Order to cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report)
• Experience with API integrations, particularly RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with SQL, JavaScript, and other web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Experience with SuiteBundler and deploying custom solutions across multiple NetSuite instances (Production, Sandbox, etc.).
• Understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile team environment.
• Knowledge of Subscription Billing /Zone Advanced billing is an added advantage.
• NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteFoundation or SuiteCloud Developer I/II, are a plus.
