Role Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), multiprocessing, asynchronous processing, and inheritance.

This role requires expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, Linux (preferably Ubuntu and Amazon Linux), RESTful APIs, SQL Alchemy, data framing, ETL processes, SFTPs, concurrency, and CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate should also be proficient in MySQL, capable of mentoring junior team members, able to work with a low level of guidance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications using OOP principles.

- Implement and optimize multi-processing and asynchronous processing to enhance application performance.

- Leverage inheritance to create scalable and maintainable codebases.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems.

- Utilize AWS services for cloud-based application development, deployment, and management.

- Apply DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.

- Work with Linux systems (Ubuntu and Amazon Linux) for application deployment and management.

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

- Work with SQLAlchemy and MySQL to manage database operations and interactions.

- Employ data framing techniques for efficient data manipulation and analysis.

- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Establish and maintain SFTPs for secure file transfers.

- Ensure efficient and safe execution of concurrent tasks.

- Mentor junior team members and delegate tasks effectively.

- Work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with team members as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in Python programming and software development with a strong.

- Understanding of OOP, multi-processing, asynchronous processing, and inheritance.

- Proficiency with AWS services, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working with Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu and Amazon Linux) for application deployment and management.

- Expertise in RESTful API development and integration.

- Knowledge of SQLAlchemy and MySQL for database management.

- Familiarity with data framing, data manipulation techniques, and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in establishing SFTPs and ensuring efficient, safe execution of concurrent tasks.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior team members and delegate tasks.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a self-starter attitude capable of working under pressure independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with additional programming languages (e. , JavaScript, C++).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with MySQL databases.

- Familiarity with mentoring members on a team.

- Experience with the Payment industry is strongly preferred, like Stripe, Connective, or building secure payment gateways.
