The COE Team Lead for AU Controllership will be a handson accountant with offshore experience, overseeing the daily operations of the offshore team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves managing a team of accountants, coordinating with onshore counterparts, and ensuring timely compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
About The Role:
1Financial reportingOversee the delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc tasks, ensuring timely completion.
2Reconciliation/ DocumentationEnsure the timely and accurate reconciliation of all GL accounts and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
3Reconciliation/ DocumentationReview work quality and ensure agreed checks and balances are performed
4CoordinationMaintain planners and checklists in a timely manner, and communicate any anticipated delays to the onshore team for agreement.
5Team ManagementManage daily team availability, daily workload and monthly performance KPIs
6Training and development Ensure team members are cross-skilled to reduce individual dependencies.
7Training and developmentPlan for team succession and retention, and provide opportunities for professional and behavioral development training.
8Process improvementDevelop and implement process improvement plans, outlining key success behaviors.
9Process improvementEnsure process notes are documented and updated, including escalation criteria and matrices, and detail key check points.

About You:
1EducationCA Intermediate or finalist
2Experienceminimum 10 years experience in reporting and controllership activities
