Accountants Associate / Junior

Currently Working on Tally ERP, General Accounting, B.COM with above 2 years of experience. Good working environment and job satisfaction.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform data entry in Tally ERP/financial software.
• Maintain books, ledgers, and other financial records.
• Handle petty cash and cheque deposits.
• Scan bills and vouchers, ensuring proper records.
• Accurately record financial transactions (payables, receivables, general ledger).
• Prepare invoices and handle bank reconciliations.
• Pay TDS, manage challans, and coordinate with consultants.
• Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing financial statements (balance sheets, income, and cash flow).
• Visit (Bi-Monthly) other branches in Mumbai for reconciliation of accounts.
• Support compliance tasks, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate and verify vendor/stakeholder transactions.
• Procure quotations and follow purchase procedures as per organizational norms.
• Verify quality and quantity of purchases and manage stock records.
• Use MS Excel and Word for detailed record-keeping.
• Support administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Com / M.Com with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi (verbal and written).
• Excellent handwriting and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and general computer skills.
• Familiarity with Tally ERP and accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines effectively.
• Understanding of professional work ethics and values.
