Job Description for Sr. Sales Role at IT Company

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead our sales efforts in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and passion for sales, with a priority focus on the Indian. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess experience in digital health or technology sales, and have the ability to create and implement effective sales strategies. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing client relationships and sales objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to different markets, with a priority on India.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  3. Sales Focus and Target Achievement: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings, providing insights to enhance sales approaches.
  5. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize sales strategies and initiatives.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  7. Budget and Resource Management: Assist in managing the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize sales productivity.
  8. Compliance and Governance: Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, with a preference for experience in the digital health, technology, or related industries.

Basic Skills Needed

  • Strong understanding of global sales strategies and customer behavior.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales tools and platforms (e.g., CRM software, sales analytics tools).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
