Position (Designation) : Manager/Sr Manager - HR
Dept / Division : AYM Syntex Palghar Plant, Maharashtra
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives of the factory, driving employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Compliance Management: Oversee all aspects of HR compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant labor laws, factory acts, and statutory regulations specific to Maharashtra, mitigating legal risks and liabilities.
Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices, local IR issues, ensuring compliance and advising management on legal and regulatory matters affecting HR operations.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and mediator in managing employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, and addressing grievances in a fair and timely manner, maintaining harmonious workplace relations.
Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment and on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization. Implement talent management strategies to identify, develop, and retain key talent within the factory.
Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to assess and improve employee productivity, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursements, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.
Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees, Evaluate the same with Skill development metrics particularly in areas related to safety, health, and compliance with factory regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in HR policies, TAT Study, procedures, and systems, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Monitor and analyze HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Labour Studies, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 08 -10 years of progressive experience in HR and administration roles within a manufacturing or factory environment, with a strong understanding of local industrial relations dynamics.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of labour laws, factory acts, and statutory compliances applicable in Maharashtra, coupled with experience in managing employee relations and industrial disputes.
Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive change initiatives.
Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in HR metrics, data analysis, and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS software, with the ability to leverage technology for streamlining HR processes and workflows.
Problem-Solving Orientation: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to addressing challenges and resolving issues.
Integrity and Confidentiality: High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive HR matters and employee information.
Residence or Relocation: Willingness to reside in or relocate to Palghar or nearby areas, as required for effective management of factory operations.
