Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and Execute comprehensive strategy for building and expanding sales network in southern region ( Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala ).
• Identify, recruit, establish relationships with Distributors, dealers, channel partners and fleet operators to drive sales of SOLAR POWERED REEFERS AND DC OPERABLE COMPOSITE REEFERS.
• Create and maintain a network of channel partners like Dealers, OEMs, Logistic companies and cold storage providers.
• Develop and implement sales campaigns and promotional activities.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to client organisations.
• Identify new business opportunities including tenders, contracts and partnership within the food, pharmaceuticals and perishable goods industries that requires temperature-controlled transport solutions.
• Work closely with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights that could drive innovations and improvements to the product offerings.
• Develop sales forecast, budgets and performance reports to track progress.
• Provide quarterly / annual business reviews to senior management and analysing sales performance, market growth and channel partner success.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create customised marketing campaigns, product brochures and promotional materials.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in Business Development, sales or channel management within the cold chain logistics, transportation or energy-efficient technologies sectors.
• Experience in selling temperature-controlled transportation solutions, including reefer trucks, solar-powered refrigeration systems or composite reefers is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the cold chain logistics ecosystem, including knowledge of temperature-sensitive supply chains in industries such as food, perishable, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
