Senior Manager:Administration & Commercial_AFL

We are urgently looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Central Processing Team_AFL team in Mumbai.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, evaluating supply options, maintaining records, and tracking contracts. You will play a vital role in our companys supply chain operations. Your job will be to provide efficient solutions that will improve our supply chain, reduce costs, and increase the speed of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Procurement: Oversee and manage the companys overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluating Supply Options: Assess and analyse various supply options to ascertain the best choices based on cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data and update them regularly.
- Contract Tracking: Track contracts and deliverables and manage all correspondence related to the contracts.
- Purchase Approval: Approve the best products or services after reviewing and analysing all options.
- Analyse data: Use data-driven reports to spur savings and efficiency.
- Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies for achieving this.
- Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Market Updates: Stay updated on market trends and product/service trends to ensure the companys supply chain operations are in line with the latest developments.
- Pricing Information: Provide accurate pricing information to the management for decision making.
Skills Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical mind with the ability to analyse large amounts of data.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with supply chain and inventory management software.
