Derivatives Product Manager

Position Overview:

The Derivatives Product Manager is a critical role responsible for the derivatives product line, encompassing market share growth, innovation, and the enhancement of our trading platforms. This includes developing and executing product strategies, managing product roadmaps, conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and launch. Additionally, this role will share responsibilities with mobile app, website, and other trading platforms to provide clients with a seamless and cutting-edge trading experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Market Share Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase Axis Securities' market share in the derivatives segment.

2) Product Strategy: Formulate comprehensive product strategies for the derivatives product line, aligning with Axis Securities' overarching business objectives and market share targets.

3) Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the derivatives space.

4) Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap outlining the development and launch of new derivatives products, features, and platform enhancements.

5) Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, design, operations, marketing, and sales, to drive the development and launch of derivatives products and platform upgrades.

6) Platform Innovation: Lead the ideation, design, and development of innovative features and functionalities for our mobile app, website, and other trading platforms to enhance the user experience and drive client engagement.

7) Product Launch: Plan and execute successful product launches and platform upgrades, including developing marketing and sales materials, conducting training sessions, and monitoring product performance.

8) Product Performance & Market Analysis: Continuously monitor the performance of derivatives products and trading platforms, analyse key metrics, and identify areas for improvement to maximize market share and client satisfaction.

9) Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all derivatives products, features, and platform developments comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.

• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on financial products or derivatives.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and launching successful mobile apps or web-based trading platforms.
• Proven track record of driving market share growth in a competitive environment.
