Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for overall delivery of the project as per approved drawings and specifications, take care of all the aspects of the project at the site like design management, planning & scheduling, budget and cost control, quality control & assurance, safety & security, billing as per standards from design stages till successfully handing over.
• Value engineering involve yourself in the design review activities and contribute by suggesting value-added and cost-effective suggestions. Discuss and debate with the design consultants to ensure the same, wherever necessary.
• Checking of drawings of all the design consultants, coordinated serviced drawings etc to ensure zero confusion upon commencement of construction activities.
• Finalise the project budget, phasing, and planning in consultation with the HO and adhere to the same.
• Materials Management - Ensure timely indenting, receipt, stocking, preserving, securing using and reconciliation.
• Ensure maintenance of records of all the in and out movement of men and materials from the project site.
• Coordination of activities of different contracting and consulting agencies. Ensure obtaining the clarifications on designs and drawings provided by the design consultants, shop drawings of contractors, etc to meet the project schedule.
• Interface planning and management effective coordination with all the design services consultants and contractors including architectural, structural, civil, MEP and Landscape services to ensure doing right the first time.
• Be responsible for overall project administration covering all the aspects of the project from scratch to finish including execution planning, quality, cost, time, safety and security-related matters. Follow up with HO on the timely supply of materials, release of payments etc to meet the project schedule.
• Ensure preparation and submission of progress reports and maintenance of all other documentation activities.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule by working on micro-level plans and implementing the same.
• Ensure applicable QA/QC tests are done as per standards and accept/reject materials based on the outcome. Also ensure compliance to quality standards of all bought out items.
• Coordinate with contractors engineers, service Contractors and in-house service engineers for smooth and timely function work at site as per schedule.
• Responsible ensuring adherence to quality and safety procedures, check-lists and workmanship.
• Supervise various construction activities and ensure adherence to required workmanship and safety standards, ensure recording / maintenance of all check-lists.
• Certification and recommending joint measurements/RA and final bills, ensure no delays in reaching them to the HO and follow up on payments.
• Ensure all the quality, time, and cost parameters are met as per Companys approved standards.
• Proactively think and envisage probable risks and come up with mitigating plans and effective solutions.
• Update yourself with the latest construction techniques and technologies and recommend adopting relevant ones with techno-commercial advantages and justifications

Preferred candidate profile

1) Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil

2) Relevant Experience: 15 20 years
