UPI Transaction Monitoring

Position Overview:

The Supervisor for Transaction Monitoring oversees daily activities related to identifying, analyzing, and reporting suspicious financial transactions. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of analysts to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

Supervise and mentor a team of transaction monitoring analysts.

Manage workload distribution to ensure timely completion of reviews.

Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance and productivity.

2. Monitoring and Analysis:

Oversee the review of transactions flagged for potential suspicious activity.

Ensure accurate identification and escalation of suspicious patterns.

Perform quality assurance checks on analysts work to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

3. Process Improvement:

Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the transaction monitoring process.

Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements, including automation or new tools.

Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the transaction monitoring function.

Skills Required::

5+ years of experience in transaction monitoring or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Proficiency in transaction monitoring systems and data analysis tools.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
