Data Scientist - Marketing Mix Modeling
About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Specialist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing marketing mix models to measure and enhance marketing effectiveness.
- This role requires strong statistical and econometric skills, experience with data analytics tools, and a deep understanding of marketing strategies across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine MMM models to evaluate marketing channel effectiveness and measure ROI, attribution, and contribution of various marketing activities.
- Leverage advanced statistical techniques such as regression modeling, time series forecasting, Bayesian methods, adstock/carryover effects, and saturation modeling to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and data science teams to align data-driven recommendations with business objectives.
- Manage stakeholder relationships by effectively communicating insights, aligning expectations, and ensuring that modeling outputs drive strategic decisions.
- Stay updated with emerging methodologies in data science, marketing analytics, and econometrics to enhance model capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing mix modeling, data analytics, or a related role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, data visualization, and machine learning concepts.
