Job Description

Financial Planning and Analysis: Responsible for preparing financial projections, budgets, and forecasts for Axens India. Should be able to analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. To ensure that financial reports are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.
Accounting: Responsible to correct accounting and bookkeeping in compliance to Indian accounting standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and managing customer payments.
Treasury Management: Managing the organizations cash flow and ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations.
Tax Compliance: Ensuring that the organization is compliant with all relevant tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns liaising with external consultants to facilitate timely submission of returns..
Tax Assessments and Litigation: Communicate with external advisors and liaison with Revenue Authorities for closure of Audits/assessments conducted by Revenue Authorities / queries raised by Revenue authorities.
Responsible to handle direct and indirect tax assessment and litigations with various authorities.
Audit Coordination: Responsible for coordinating with external auditors and ensuring that financial statements are audited in a timely and accurate manner.

Knowledge and Required Level :

Candidate must possess bachelor s degree in commerce or CA/ CA inter or equivalent
Minimum 5-8years of experience in finance and accounts,
Proven work experience in finance and accounting, with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (SAP& Tally)
