Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including generating invoices, collecting payments, and managing vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Analyse financial data and generate reports as needed.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
• Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across various departments.
• Stay up to date on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or accounting.
• Proficient in accounting software (Preferred : Tally).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of the freight forwarding industry (a plus).
