Job Description: Business Development Executive (IT Outsourcing Company)

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our IT Outsourcing Company. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth by offering innovative IT solutions to prospective clients. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Identify and research potential clients across industries.
    • Develop a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and online research.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and webinars to build connections.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Act as a point of contact to address client needs, ensuring satisfaction with services offered.
    • Provide post-sale support to foster client retention and referrals.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns to boost client acquisition.
  • Proposal & Negotiation:
    • Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to close deals successfully.
    • Align service offerings with client needs to provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Work closely with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
    • Report progress and insights to senior management.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or related field.
    • MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in business development, preferably in IT outsourcing or technology services.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of IT services, outsourcing models, and emerging technologies.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and online communication platforms.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a strategic approach to sales.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
