SAP Core Banking Consultant (5-7 yrs)

Job Description:

- We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Core Banking Consultant to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Banking solutions, particularly in the areas of FI-CA, FI-BA, and FI-SL.

- You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Core Banking solutions to meet our client's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement through SAP solutions.

System Design and Configuration:

- Design and configure SAP Core Banking modules (FI-CA, FI-BA, FI-SL) to align with business requirements.

- Define and maintain master data, transaction types, and product configurations.

- Configure payment processing, interest calculation, and fee and commission management.

Implementation and Testing:

- Lead and participate in implementation projects, including system integration, data migration, and testing.

- Develop and execute test cases to ensure system functionality and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during implementation and post-implementation phases.

Post-Implementation Support:

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP Core Banking solutions.

- Respond to user queries and resolve incidents.

- Perform system upgrades and enhancements as needed.

Knowledge Transfer and Training:

- Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP Core Banking functionalities.

- Document system configurations and processes for future reference.

Technical Skills:

Essential:

- Strong understanding of SAP Core Banking modules (FI-CA, FI-BA, FI-SL)

- Proficiency in ABAP programming for custom developments and enhancements

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori

- Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, web services)

- Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques Desirable: Experience with SAP Banking Analyzer and other reporting tools

- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the banking industry

- Certification in SAP Core Banking modules
