Job Title: US Indirect Taxation Analyst/Sr Analyst/Specialist

Experience: 2 to 8 yrs

Skills: US Indirect Taxation, US Sales & Use Tax, SUT, Filing (Lodging), Licensing and registration (L&R), Notices, Jurisdictions, Support, Client management, Stakeholder management.
Location: Pune (Full-time, Work from Office, 5 days a week)

Note: This role requires you to work 5 days from office in night shifts (6.00pm to 3.00 am). Kindly apply only if you are comfortable with this mode of work.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical US Indirect Taxation Analyst to join our compliance team. You will be responsible for analyzing lodging tax transactions and filing accurate tax returns for various US states, counties, and cities. You will work closely with the compliance team to ensure returns are filed on time and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze lodging tax forms and prepare accurate tax returns for US states and cities.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of client returns monthly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
• Resolve customer queries related to tax filings.
• Continuously improve team efficiency and filing processes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree with PGDBM/PGDBA/MBA in Finance or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in US indirect taxation or similar roles.
• Strong skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and Windows.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• US Sales & Use Tax experience preferred.
