US Tax Filling Analyst

What Youll Do

We are looking for an Analyst who would involve understanding the transactions on the Sales and use form and file tax returns for US states Must be a supporting member of the Professional Services team, ensuring client returns are filed. Work with team and all other tax personnel and deadlines, and observe processes to determine ways that can help improve output of the team. You will provide customer support in addition to producing and accurate results by way of preparing and filing the Sales and use tax returns.

You will report to Manager, Professional Services. You will work from Pune office for 5 days a week

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Prepare and file Sales & Use tax returns and payments and as needed by taxing jurisdictions to ensure all return filing deadlines are achieved.
• Accuracy to be maintained following standard Operating Procedures to avoid causing Penalty and Interest to the client.
• Customer-focused and convey complex information to the clients over call and email.
• Understand the tools / applications and procedures to complete filings. Maintain all spreadsheets and tax calendars for multiple US States
• Flexible to extend working hours, working on weekends and holidays as to complete the filings requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and enhance procedures to capture workflow processes for identified responsibilities.
• Excel expertise would be required and should have use Macros.
• Reconciliation of complex transaction data of clients to prepare historical returns.

What You'll Need to be Successful

• 3 or more years of experience in sales and use tax domain.
• Have Sales and Use tax experience in filing.
• MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) (intermediary to Advance) skills. Other apps proficiency
• Team player ready to work in 24/7 environment as per business requirement.
• MBA in finance
