VVDN Technologies - Automation Testing Lead - Playwright Testing (7-9 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Leadership :

- Define and execute the automation strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable and reusable automation framework using Playwright.

- Mentor and guide team members in test automation best practices and technologies.

- Identify and implement tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance automation efficiency.

Test Planning and Execution :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.

- Develop comprehensive test plans and ensure thorough test coverage.

- Write and maintain high-quality automation scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using Playwright.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.

Quality Assurance :

- Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing processes to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and recommend corrective actions.

- Establish performance benchmarks and ensure systems meet performance and reliability goals.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to promote a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Communicate progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and management.

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- Playwright Expertise : Extensive experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks with Playwright.

- Programming Skills : Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Test Automation Tools : Knowledge of other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer is a plus.

- API Testing : Hands-on experience with tools like Postman or REST-Assured.

- CI/CD Tools : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is advantageous.

Experience :

- 7-9 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance, with at least 2 years leading automation projects.

- Proven track record of developing and maintaining automation frameworks in large-scale applications.

- Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.

Soft Skills :

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
