Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with expertise in the Playwright framework.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright framework.

- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand application requirements and user stories.

- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

- Analyze test results, detect issues, and provide thorough reports to stakeholders.

- Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks and processes.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.

- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on automation best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.

Qualifications :

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in software testing and automation.

- Strong proficiency in the Playwright framework.

- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)

- Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other automation frameworks (i.e., Selenium, Cypress).

- Knowledge of API testing and tools (i.e. Postman).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure).
