Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets within the assigned region.
• Conduct sales forecasts, monitor pricing objectives, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Regularly visit industrial clients to present company products and services, demonstrating technical expertise to address customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify customer requirements and propose tailored solutions to meet their objectives and solve challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, etc.) to develop proposals and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Drive market share growth by prospecting and onboarding new clients while retaining existing accounts.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase company offerings.
• Maintain a professional image and act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing innovative, high-quality solutions.
• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the industrial automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation products and markets is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales/CRM tools.
• Valid Driving License
