Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading end to end Project management of new products , system & business rule engine implementation of individual & group life , health and general Insurance products under Bancassurance vertical . Deliver projects on time within budget and within scope with strong stakeholder management. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for management updates regarding status of project.
Job Description :
- Own, direct and manage projects from beginning to end.
- Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcome that support business goals in collaboration with all key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, Plan, schedule and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and devise mitigation and contingency plans.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and requirements. Review with business partners and agree on commitment
- Estimate budget , the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and resolve identified issues and conflicts within the project timeline.
- Engage and inform management as needed and provide team with constructive feedback as it pertains to the overall development and implementation.
- Review the product BRDs and provide inputs & mentor team members with respect to process improvements and efficiencies and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
Candidate requirements :
Education & Experience :
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, Any Graduate
- PG: MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization, Any Postgraduate, PG Diploma in Any Specialization, M.Tech in Any Specialization, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Any Specialization, MCA in Any Specialization
- Overall experience of a minimum of 5 to 10 years in Insurance/Banking and Finance/fintech/Insurtech Project management with PMP certification
- Excellent client management skills (5+ years of experience in client interfacing role & minimum 2+ years experience in managing client)
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite , Advance Excel , JIRA ,
Preferred Skills :
- Hands-on in delivering large scale Insurance CORE system and DIGITAL projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Insurance - Life, General and Health, Insurance Operations (New Business, Policy Services Claims and Agency)
- Well versed in leading projects in various delivery methodologies such as, Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), V-methodology etc.
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
