Telecom System Integrator - Packet Core Expert

Job Description

As a Telecom System Integrator, you will play a critical role in implementing, migrating and maintaining packet core network solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless communication services for our clients.

Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Responsibilities: 1. Network Project Management: 1. Serve as a central point of contact across an assigned portfolio of network projects. 2. Identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and escalations. 2. Technical Expertise: 1. Provide a broad understanding of applications, platforms, and underlying technologies at the software, OS, and infrastructure levels. 2. Analyse and identify non-functional business and system requirements. 3. Offer technical leadership during implementation, including strategies to verify NFRs (non-functional requirements), testing, issue resolution, and performance optimization. 4. Support the identification of key performance indicators (KPIs) and capacity planning models. 3. System Integration: 1. Complete application profiling verification for critical systems. 2. Review systems for production performance readiness, focusing on efficiency, resiliency, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and adherence to development standards. 4. Interfaces and Protocols: 1. Familiarity with various interfaces and protocols, including S1, S5/S8, S11, S10, S6a, Gb, Gr, S1U, GnGp, Gs/SGs, Ga, Gi/SGi, Gx, Gy, and 5G SA NSA interfaces. 2. Expertise in protocols such as Diameter, GTP, PFCP, UDP, SIP, TCP, and S1AP. 5. CUPS Solution Knowledge: 1. Understand the Cloud Unified Packet System (CUPS) architecture and its components. 6. Basic 5G Packet Core Knowledge: 1. Familiarity with 5G packet core components, including AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function), SMF (Session Management Function), UPF (User Plane Function), NRF (Network Repository Function), and NSSF (Network Slice Selection Function).

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Engineering, Technical, Electrical Engineering.

2. Experience: Proven experience in packet core network design, implementation, and maintenance.
