About the Role :

As an OpenSync/Plume/OpenWRT Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software components for home networking devices based on these platforms. You will work closely with hardware engineers, network architects, and other team members to deliver high-quality, scalable, and feature-rich networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

OpenSync/Plume/OpenWRT Expertise :

- In-depth understanding of OpenSync, Plume, and OpenWRT platforms and their architectures.

- Experience with customizing and extending these platforms for specific use cases.

- Knowledge of OpenSync/Plume's cloud-based management system.

VoIP Development :

- Develop and maintain VoIP software components, including SIP protocol implementation, call control, and voice quality optimization.

- Integrate VoIP with home networking devices.

- Optimize VoIP performance for various network conditions.

C++ Programming :

- Proficiency in C++ programming language for developing embedded applications.

- Experience with C++ standards and best practices.

Network Protocols :

- Understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, and routing protocols.

- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Embedded Systems :

- Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems.

- Experience with hardware-software interactions and resource constraints.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-7 years of experience in network software development.

- Strong programming skills in C++.

- In-depth knowledge of OpenSync, Plume, or OpenWRT platforms.

- Experience with VoIP development and protocols.

- Proficiency in embedded systems and network protocols.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
