As we continue to expand and integrate our R&D capabilities with our manufacturing processes, we are seeking a strategic HRBP to join our team and play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, and fostering a culture of collaboration between R&D and manufacturing.
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who understands the unique challenges of working in a highly technical, manufacturing oriented fast-paced environment. The HRBP will act as a bridge between our R&D and manufacturing teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can take complete people and growth ownership in a high-innovation and high-performance environment, where technical expertise and people management go hand in hand.
What is expected?
1. Strategic HR Partnership:
a. Partner closely with leadership and department heads in both R&D and manufacturing to align human resources strategies with business objectives.
b. Drive organizational change and ensure alignment between innovation cycles in R&D and operational needs in manufacturing.
2. Talent Management & Development:
a. Lead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent in R&D (e.g., engineers, product developers) and manufacturing roles (e.g., officers,technicians, production, quality candidates ).
b. Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation across all teams.
3. Employee Engagement & Collaboration:
a. Foster a collaborative work environment between R&D, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
b. Ensure seamless communication between departments, focusing on building trust and solving interpersonal or interdepartmental challenges.
c. Develop programs to maintain high levels of employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, particularly in technical and innovation-driven roles.
4. Performance Management:
a. Design and implement performance management systems that encourage both individual and team-based achievements in a technical, fast-paced environment.
b. Work closely with managers to provide coaching, feedback, and support to improve performance across departments.
5. Change & Conflict Management:
a. Lead and support change management initiatives, particularly during transitions related to product development cycles, manufacturing scaling, or organizational shifts.
b. Proactively manage conflict and ensure the resolution of issues in ways that enhance team cohesion and productivity.
6. HR Analytics & Reporting:
a. Utilize HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, identify potential skill gaps, and ensure workforce planning aligns with long-term company goals.
b. Track key HR metrics to measure the success of HR initiatives and inform decision-making.
What is needed?
- Experience:
o 5+ years of experience in an HRBP or HR leadership role, with a focus on technical/engineering sectors such as manufacturing, R&D, or product development.
o Demonstrated experience in managing HR functions in a manufacturing environment with complex product lifecycles (e.g., PCB, motors, motor controllers).
- Industry Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of both the technical and operational aspects of R&D and manufacturing.
o Familiarity with the processes and challenges of PCB manufacturing, motor development, and appliance technologies is highly preferred.
- Skills:
o Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with technical teams and leadership alike.
o Proficiency in HR software tools, performance management systems, and HR analytics.
