Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an architectural role. As a an Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and resilient software solutions, leading the architecture of cloud-based applications, and ensuring that projects are aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design and Development :

- Design end-to-end software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to meet business requirements.

- Develop high-level architecture, including logical, conceptual, and physical architectures, and ensure scalability and performance.

- Create and maintain architecture documentation, including technical specifications, diagrams, and guidelines.

Microservices Architecture :

- Design and implement microservices-based architectures to support modular, scalable, and highly available applications.

- Define strategies for service decomposition, data partitioning, and communication protocols (REST, gRPC, etc.).

- Implement robust API management strategies, including versioning, documentation, and security.

Cloud Strategy and Implementation :

- Lead the migration of existing applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and design cloud-native applications.

- Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging services like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures.

- Set up CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate deployments and maintain a stable production environment.

Technical Leadership and Mentoring :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and architecture.

- Mentor junior architects and developers, assisting them in career growth and skill development.

- Conduct technical reviews, including design reviews, code reviews, and architectural assessments.

Performance Optimization and Security :

- Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations for system and application performance.

- Design and implement security best practices, including data encryption, authentication, authorization, and vulnerability assessments.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and other architects to define project scope and requirements.

- Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Work closely with the operations team to troubleshoot issues and support production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 12+ years of software development and architecture experience, including at least 5 years in a solutions architect role.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in building large-scale applications.

- Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, including concepts like service discovery, circuit breakers, and API gateways.

- Extensive experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud-native services.

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and other communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft

Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.

- Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).

- Experience with event-driven architectures and CQRS patterns.

- Understanding of OAuth2, SSO, JWT, and other security standards.

- Knowledge of big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Flink.
