Job Description
Your Role
Experience & Knowledge Requirements: -
- Detail programming work experience on Codesys software along with Professional Developer Edition Tools.
- Working knowledge of PLC/ HMI Programming like Beckhoff, Sabo, Turk, Messung and different embedded controllers etc.
- OOP design and application plus support procedural scripts and legacy solutions [C#, C++, Java, Python, ST].
- Experience of working in an agile/ Scrum Methodology
- Familiarized with version control tool like: Tortoise SVN, Git etc
- PLC control system programming experience using IE 61131 Structure Text
- Should have independently developed PLC/HMI/SCADA program from scratch for complex projects
- Should have independently handled onsite support activities like FAT/SAT/Commissioning for PLC based control System
- Experience of pre commissioning activities like loop checking, trouble shooting, simulation of I/Os etc on site.
- Overseas/Domestic travel experience for onsite customer support and / or comfortable with such travel.
- Knowledge field instruments like sensors, transmitters, controller (embedded and/or other PLCs), valves.
- Knowledge and experience of handling/configuration of various communication protocols.
- Study the customer specifications related to Instrumentation & control systems for selection of control systems and field instruments.
- Study the requirement specification to develop Design Specification and Test Plan.
- Understanding and Create various Instrumentation and control system related drawings and documents like logic diagram, I/O List, Bill of material, PLC related documents like Communication list, Alarm/trip list, signal list, Monitor screen documents and customized documents as per customer requirement etc.
- Preparation of work instructions, check lists, standard procedure etc related to ISO requirement.
- Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions, document approval process.
- Upon requirement, should be able to co-ordinate and manage with management trainee to meet customer s engineering support requirement.
- Continuously innovate the ideas to improve the Quality aspect of engineering & Programming.
- Working knowledge of various other PLCs like Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, B&R hardware & PLC/HMI/SCADA programming in all languages (STL, FBD, Ladder etc).
- Preferred to have the working experience on Regression test, Azure CI/CD Pipeline
- FAT/SAT/Commissioning of Control Panels
- Working knowledge of motion control applications and Robotics programming
- Cyber security related to controls system.
- Preferred to have working experience of various Vacuum products, Robotics, Industrial tools, Compressors. Cyber security related to controls system.
Experience Requirements: -
BE / B Tech / M Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering / Electronics/ E & TC with 4 to 9 years of designing and programming experience in project execution in an engineering or product organisation.
Must be proficient in
- Programming of Codesys and TwinCAT.
- Working with OPPs and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Coding using C, C++, Java, Python
- Deep knowledge of PLC languages like STL, FBD, Ladder, CFC etc.
