Job Summary:
ASTRON Zircon is seeking an experienced and dynamic International Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing and business development initiatives for our Ceramic Raw Materials, Zircon, and other heavy metals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in international markets, a deep understanding of the raw materials industry, and proven success in managing global sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research to identify new markets, trends, customer preferences, and emerging demands for zircon and other heavy metal raw materials in global markets.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Formulate and implement effective international marketing strategies to enhance ASTRONs brand presence, positioning, and product offerings in the ceramic and heavy metals industries.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with international clients, including distributors, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer loyalty.
  • Sales & Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to generate new leads, expand market share, and drive revenue growth in international markets through targeted marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Brand Positioning & Product Promotion: Oversee global brand management and marketing communications. Ensure that ASTRON’s zircon and raw materials are promoted effectively across various channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
  • Pricing & Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor offerings, market pricing, and customer requirements to develop competitive pricing strategies that maintain profitability while being attractive to global customers.
  • Contract Negotiation & Market Entry: Lead negotiations for international contracts, and ensure smooth entry and expansion into new geographic regions, complying with international trade regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment on product specifications, availability, and customer requirements. Work with logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Reporting & Market Intelligence: Track marketing and sales performance, preparing reports for senior management on KPIs, market trends, and actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Industry Events & Networking: Represent ASTRON at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our products, gather market insights, and expand business opportunities.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in international marketing, business development, or sales in the raw materials, ceramic, or heavy metals industries.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of zircon, ceramic raw materials, and other heavy metals, including market applications, industry dynamics, and key players.
  • Market Knowledge: Proven experience in identifying and penetrating international markets, with a focus on Asia, Europe, North America, and other emerging markets.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate at all levels, including senior management and international clients.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex market data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies that align with company goals.
  • Global Trade & Export Knowledge: Familiarity with global trade regulations, import/export requirements, and supply chain management for international markets.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages (Spanish, Mandarin, French, etc.) would be advantageous for global communication.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally as needed to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new market opportunities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the technical specifications and applications of zircon and other heavy metals in industrial applications like ceramics, metallurgy, and chemicals.
  • B2B Sales & Marketing Expertise: Strong background in B2B marketing and sales, especially in the raw materials or industrial sectors.
  • Leadership Experience: Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a collaborative approach to achieving organizational goals.
