Job Description

Scope of work:

  • What were looking for is a self-motivated and energetic Communications professional to join our Communications team.
  • Primary duties include creating informative content, change releases, articles, and other opportunities to share changes, products, and services.
  • The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills who regularly:
  • Works on assignments that require considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Makes recommendations for solutions
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
  • Works on problems of a diverse scope
  • Receives little instruction on day to day work, general instruction on new assignments
  • Works within guidelines and takes ownership of results.
  • May act as a mentor to less experienced team members.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create informative and interesting communications releases for the Program, newsletters, and related change management materials.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build awareness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all communications materials.
  • Work with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
  • Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready.
  • Create communication and strategies for new communications, change, launches, events, and promotions.
  • Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
  • Build strong client relationships. Understand client programs needs and deliverables (SOW and skills), vision for each program, and program success criteria
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to review and scale the communications content.
  • Be a player-coach for cross-functional teams including delivery and project management.
  • Work closely with a diverse group of employees.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-college or university and 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mastery of English language with ability to tailor language flexibily and effectively for professional audiences
  • Have the ability to identify communication gaps and deliver solutions
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
  • Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail
  • Proficiency with office document software, presentations and other related visualizations including Google Suite (Specifically Docs, Sheet, and Slides)
  • Accomplished communicator, active listener and willing to seek feedback with demonstrated excellent writing and editing skills including the ability to package information for delivery across multiple digital platforms
  • Critical thinker with a creative, problem solving approach
  • Continuous learner with ability to build working knowledge of new subject matter quickly
  • Comfortable working in a global environment with a wide variety of cultures and skill sets while applying the highest degree of professionalism
  • High sense of urgency and grit required to drive business outcomes with proven track record of implementing successful processes and workflows across functions and departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly to changing priorities in a timely manner to meet commitments
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines through outstanding time management skills
  • Support leveraging of analytics and reports to determine effectiveness and seek continual improvements of communication initiatives.
  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
  • Business applications knowledge including MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Google -Suite Doc, Sheets, Slides
  • Experience with project and work management software including Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, etc)
