Dispatch Officer - Billing

Job Description:

Astral Limited is looking for a Dispatch Officer to manage daily dispatch activities, including truck loading/unloading, billing, inventory movement, and SAP-based documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inward & outward logistics and a strong understanding of SAP for inventory tracking and billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Dispatch & Logistics Management:

• Supervise truck loading & unloading operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods to customers or warehouses.
• Monitor and manage vehicle scheduling to optimize dispatch efficiency.

🔹 Billing & Documentation:

• Handle billing and invoicing for outgoing shipments using SAP.
• Maintain accurate records for inward and outward stock movement.
• Ensure all dispatch documentation, including delivery challans, invoices, and GRNs, are correctly processed.

🔹 Inventory & SAP Management:

• Update SAP for all inward/outward stock transactions.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the warehouse & production teams to ensure smooth dispatch flow.

🔹 Compliance & Coordination:

• Ensure adherence to company dispatch policies and government regulations.
• Work closely with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless dispatch operations.
• Monitor the condition of goods during loading and unloading to prevent damage.

Key Skills & Attributes:

✔ Expertise in SAP (mandatory) for inventory and billing
✔ Knowledge of dispatch, inward/outward logistics & stock management
✔ Experience in truck loading & unloading operations
✔ Strong coordination and communication skills
✔ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Qualifications:

🎓 Bachelors Degree/Diploma or related fields
📌 2-5 years of experience in dispatch & billing operations
