Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Head / Zonal Head to lead the strategic growth and expansion of AstaGuru Auction House in the designated region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (10+ years) in business development, strategy, and consulting, ideally with a background in Big 4 firms, or luxury industry management. The individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing high-value relationships with collectors, investors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the regional business operations, define short-term and long-term strategies to ensure continued growth in sales, market share, and brand awareness.
- Revenue Growth: Oversee the end-to-end business cycle from sourcing to sale, ensuring the company achieves growth targets and financial objectives.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), art collectors, dealers, and other stakeholders to drive business development and sales.
- Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities for market penetration, both locally and globally, ensuring AstaGuru is well-positioned in the luxury and art auction space.
- Brand Representation: Act as a key spokesperson for AstaGuru in public forums, exhibitions, auctions, and key events, representing the brand's values and mission.
- Partnership Development: Work closely with key partners, galleries, private collectors, and institutional players to expand AstaGuru's network and offerings.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop and track performance metrics for the region, regularly reporting to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and market trends.
- Innovation & Trend Spotting: Keep abreast of trends in the art, luxury, and auction industries to innovate and align AstaGuru's business model with global shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 to15 yrs years of professional experience with a strong track record in consulting (preferably with a Big 4), business leadership, and revenue growth in luxury sectors or the art world.
- Educational Background: MBA from a top-tier business school or equivalent professional experience in strategy, business management, or consulting.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the art, luxury, or high-net-worth client market, with a focus on fine art auctions, luxury goods, or cultural collectibles.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and influence.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with top-level clients and stakeholders.
- In-depth experience in managing high-stakes relationships and dealing with high-net-worth individuals.
- Adept at managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting for regional operations.
- Global Mindset: Ability to operate in a global context and an understanding of international art and luxury markets.
