Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager/Manager -Talent Acquisition to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to ensure we hire, and retain top talent from the automotive spare parts /Lubricant/Battery industry. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of recruitment processes, industry-specific hiring needs, and the ability to align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives.

  • Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Create and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract talent across various levels and functions, specifically in sales, engineering, logistics, and customer service.
  • Source and Attract Candidates: Use various channels such as job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and industry networks to source high-quality candidates.
  • Manage the Full Recruitment Cycle: Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, and reference checks, ensuring an efficient and seamless hiring experience.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and define job requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop a Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to address immediate hiring needs and anticipate future demand.
  • Employer Branding: Strengthen the companys employer brand to attract top talent by promoting the company culture and opportunities for growth.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, report on hiring progress, and enhance recruitment processes.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all employment laws, diversity policies, and company guidelines in the hiring process.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably within the automotive, Lubricants/Battery or spare parts industry.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific hiring needs and challenges, especially in the areas of Sales & Business Development, logistics, and Services.

  • Strong interviewing, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in using recruitment software and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Results-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Relevant Experience:

  • 8-10 years’ relevant experience
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition within the auto spare parts, Battery, Lubricants, Inks and Adhesives, and other automotive product industries.
  • Must have working exposure of automotive/Lubricants/battery/Spare parts industry
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific hiring needs and challenges, especially in the areas of Sales & Business Development, logistics, and Services..
