Job Description:

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive Monitoring and observability solutions that enhance the visibility, reliability, and performance of customers systems and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of monitoring and observability platforms, tools, and technologies, as well as a strategic mindset to drive innovation and continuous improvement and solution architecture, help with technical design, and provide technical governance throughout the solutioning lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessment of various monitoring tools available in the market and select the most suitable ones based on customer needs. These tools include monitoring, self-healing, automation framework.
• Install, configuring, administering, and supporting of Infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Work within a team of IT Service Management Tools, understanding client requirements & building use cases.
• Designing an end-to-end Monitoring, deployment, and ongoing support model and solutioning.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of solutions to support business growth.
• Manage and maintain Monitoring Tools environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve systems reliability and scalability.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Create insightful dashboards, KPIs, and alerts to provide visibility into critical IT services.
• Leverage on AI-driven analytics, predictive maintenance, and automated incident resolution.
• Deploy solutions to test environment and elevate the solution to production environments.
• Prepare technical, architectural and solution costing and Benefit analysis documentation.
• Identify risks and provide possible solutions to mitigate them.

Skills:

• Intermediate to proficiency in Windows OS, UNIX/Linux OS, backup technology, and various types of networks.
• Good understanding of Synthetic monitoring, Real User monitoring and diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience in managing & monitoring applications and related configuration any monitoring tool and not limited to Dynatrace, Splunk, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana, ELK.
• API Integrations with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, BPPM.
• Knowledge of VPC and networking fundamentals/components
• Ability to diagnose & address monitoring issues.
• Experience working in a customer facing environment.
• Driving continuous improvement in development process and tools to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
• Ability to quickly produce prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Experience and willingness to mentor other engineers and help develop their skills and leadership.
• Ability to present to leadership and articulate complex technical scenarios.
• Strong understanding of observability principles, including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.

Tools and Certifications:

• Certification in Dynatrace, Splunk, SolarWinds, Grafana or any monitoring tools.
• ITIL V3/4 Certified

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience,
• At least 5 years of experience in the tools architecture and solution design/engineering.

Knowledge/ experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud or Google Cloud
