What will you bring
  • Minimum 14+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Significant leadership experience; including identifying, guiding, and developing talent across an enterprise scale organisation.
  • Extensive experience working in large enterprise globally distributed systems and be able to work with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable applications.
  • Strong experience in DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, Devops tools (Jenkins, bamboo, GitHub, uDeploy)
  • Experience on cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Experience in OpenShift, docker Kubernetes
  • Expert in designing and implementing complex solutions across multiple application platforms.
  • Expert in infrastructure and Integration enterprise in solution design and development
  • Expert in one or more technologies such as VMware, Unix, Linux, Mainframe along with data base such as SQL Server, Mongo DB Oracle, and Postgres.
  • Experience in one or more monitoring/alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, NewRelic and Germain.
  • Experience in Incident/Problem management and root cause analysis
  • Good understanding of API design, Microservices Architecture Security principles.
  • Leadership Experience: A proven record in managing and mentoring teams, with a commitment to building team capabilities and fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Stakeholder Management Ability: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels ideally in an enterprise scale organisation working across different geographies
Detailed Description
  • Agile Methodology Knowledge: Solid understanding and experience in Agile frameworks, enabling you to lead Agile practices within the team and drive continuous improvement.
  • Problem-Solving Orientation: A proactive approach to identifying, analysing, and resolving challenges, ensuring that solutions are effective and aligned with business objectives.
  • Building cohesive teams and nurturing a positive work environment.
  • Strong communication and ability to co-ordinate and bring people together to achieve outcomes within the chapter.
  • Proven relationship building skills across different squads, teams and functions - ideally in an enterprise scale organisation working across different geographies
  • Must be able to align and adhere to standards, guidelines, and processes of ANZ - New Zealand Great interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others.
  • Hands-on with Jira, Confluence, Git, and tools like GitHub, Bamboo, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in delivering Application and Infrastructure uplift program.
The good to have knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
  • Experience with recruitment, interviewing, candidate selection and on-boarding
  • Ability to quickly grasp new content and the ability to translate this to your Chapter
  • Ability to ask for and give feedback Understand business and customer needs to make sound judgments
  • Experience removing blockers and impediments of delivery for their people
