Assistant Quality Manager/DY Quality Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Lead and supervise product inspections and testing across incoming materials and finished products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
• Drive process improvements using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Mentor and train quality control teams, promoting a culture of quality.
• Manage customer complaints, audits, and documentation related to product quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: BE (Engineering) or DME (Mechanical Engineering).
• Experience: 12-16 years in quality management, with 8-10 years in plastic injection moulding.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, statistical tools (e.g., SPC), and quality control instruments.
• Expertise in continuous improvement processes like Lean, Six Sigma.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and ensure quality compliance.
