About the Role:
Were searching for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Manager to join our growing team! In this role, youll be responsible for overseeing the quality of our luggage throughout the assembly process, ensuring every piece meets our high standards and delivers a superior experience for our customers.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the Assembly QC team, ensuring efficient and effective quality control procedures.
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for all luggage components and assembled products.
Conduct thorough inspections at various stages of the assembly process, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies.
Analyze quality control data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
Collaborate with production teams to develop solutions for quality issues and prevent future occurrences.
Maintain detailed documentation of all quality control activities and findings.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for luggage quality control.
Work closely with other departments, including Customer Service, to ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Proven understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing a plus).
Experience with inspection tools and techniques for luggage components and finished products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceeding quality standards.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bonus Points:
Experience in the luggage or travel goods industry.
Knowledge of relevant quality control standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
