Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team, working on projects for KSA-based customers from our Chennai location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL/DW, Azure Data Factory, Python, Pyspark, and Synapse. Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI is a significant advantage. The role requires exceptional SQL and data modeling skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven technical leadership to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies will also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and developers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for data architecture and data integration.
• Data Architecture & Modeling:
  • Design and implement robust data architectures and data models.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data pipeline.
• ETL/DW Development:
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and data warehouses.
  • Work extensively with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Implement data integration solutions that are scalable and efficient.
• Azure Data Solutions:
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure services for data processing and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Pyspark.
  • Optimize Azure environments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Reporting and Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to provide insights and data-driven solutions.
• Agile/Scrum Methodologies:
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Required Skills

• Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in ETL/DW, Azure Data Factory, Python, Pyspark, and Synapse.
  • Strong SQL skills with expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Reporting Tools:
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is an added advantage.
• Communication and Leadership:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and projects.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Methodologies:
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects is preferred.
