Senior Retail Analytics Consultant

• 7+ years of experience in a consulting role focused on retail analytics or a related field. Strong functional knowledge of customer and merchandise analytics.
• Solid technical background in data warehouse and data lake solutions, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing these technologies.
• Expertise in cloud-based analytics solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
• Deep understanding of retail data architecture and best practices. Proven track record of successfully consulting with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering impactful solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements with clients, focusing on retail analytics solutions to address their unique challenges and opportunities.
• Design and implement comprehensive analytics strategies, focusing on customer and merchandise insights to drive retail performance.
• Provide expert advice on data architecture, specifically within the retail sector, ensuring scalable and efficient data management.
• Guide clients in selecting and deploying cloud-based analytics solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) to enhance their data capabilities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their data ecosystem, recommending improvements and innovations in data warehousing and data lakes.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients to elevate their understanding and use of retail analytics tools and methodologies.
• Work closely with the internal team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies.
