Job Title : Senior Data Engineer (Azure Focus).

Role Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Azure and Snowflake to design, implement, and maintain robust data solutions within our Data and Analytics (DnA) Team.

You will ensure high-quality data pipelines, optimize cloud-based architectures, and drive efficiency improvements while mentoring team members and fostering a data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and optimize Azure-based data architectures, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and ETL pipelines.

- Design and implement data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability and performance.

- Implement DevOps practices for seamless deployment and maintenance of data platforms.

- Ensure platform security, performance, and cost efficiency across Azure and Snowflake.

- Conduct source data analysis and develop data models to support business needs.

- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and optimize Azure-based data architectures, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and ETL pipelines, to enable efficient and scalable data management.

- Design and implement advanced data solutions using Snowflake, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.

- Implement and maintain DevOps practices to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data platforms.

- Ensure data platforms are secure, cost-efficient, and performant across Azure and Snowflake environments.

- Conduct source data analysis to extract insights and develop data models aligned with business requirements and organizational goals.

- Work closely with data architects and key stakeholders to ensure solutions align with broader organizational strategies.

- Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture.

Key Competencies and Skills

- In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Snowflake.

- Proficiency in data modeling, big data frameworks, and cloud architecture design.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment processes.

- Expertise in conducting source data analysis and creating optimized, scalable data models. -

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with significant expertise in Azure and Snowflake.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.

- Hands-on experience with big data tools and frameworks.
