Job Description
DescriptionJob Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Merchandiser to join our ultra-luxury retail store team The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of luxury branding, and a passion for curating an extraordinary shopping experience This role involves developing and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales, enhance customer engagement, and maintain the brands impeccable reputation Business Responsibility Areas: 1 Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with the brands luxury positioning and target audience Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences 2 Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure appropriate stock levels of high-demand products Analyze sales data to forecast trends and adjust inventory accordingly 3 Vendor Onboarding & Coordination: Liaise with designers and suppliers to curate a selection of products that align with the brands image Negotiate favorable terms with vendors while maintaining product quality 4 Customer Experience: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer feedback and refine product offerings Organize exclusive events or launches to enhance customer engagement and loyalty 5 Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to improve revenue and profitability Prepare regular reports on merchandising effectiveness and suggest improvements Qualification: Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of experience in merchandising within the luxury retail sector Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and market dynamics Previous Experience: Proficient in inventory management and retail analytics tools Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
