Chief Operating Officer - Tablet/Capsule/Injectable - Formulations Business (20-30 yrs)

Qualifications -

- Master's degree in pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field. MBA/EDP from A+ is preferred.

- 20-25 of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role being responsible for the overall operations of multiple sites of large-scale pharmaceutical group operating in an intense regulatory ecosystem

- Proven track record of managing large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and teams.

- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and experience with regulatory audits.

- Expertise in quality management systems (QMS) and operational excellence methodologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.

- Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy

- Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations

- Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth

- Present operational strategy recommendations based on your market research

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee the overall operations of our Formulation Business. The COO will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a strong background in pharmaceutical operations, quality management systems (QMS), and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities -

Leadership and Management: -

- Oversee heads of Manufacturing (Production, Packing, PPIC), Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Purchase, and Engineering.

- Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations across all departments.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and adherence to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Operational Oversight: -

- Ensure smooth and efficient operations at both manufacturing sites, with a focus on optimizing production processes and resource utilization.

- Oversee the development and implementation of production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of highquality products.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Management: -

- Maintain a strong hold on regulatory compliance and audits, ensuring all operations meet global regulatory standards, including MHRA and other international authorities.

- Implement and monitor comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) to ensure product quality and safety.

Strategic Planning and Execution: -

- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Executive Council to prepare and implement the growth strategy of the organization.

- Drive operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and market demands.

- Prepare progressive Budgets for every financial year and delivering 100 % of budget in numbers and profitability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: -

- Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Head of R&D, Head of Finance, and Head of HR to ensure cohesive and integrated business operations.

- Participate in Executive Council meetings to contribute to the strategic decision-making process.

Stakeholder Management-

- Engage with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, suppliers, and internal teams, to build and maintain strong relationships.

- Ensure transparent and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
