Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Marketing Engineer at Asahi Ropes Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi, India.

The Sales Marketing Engineer will be responsible for market research, communication with clients, sales activities, and marketing strategies to promote our products effectively in the industry.

Deliver technical presentations or demonstrations of their products or solutions to potential clients or customers. Understand the technical requirements and specifications of the products and to recommend solutions that best meet their customers' requirements. Responsible for providing technical support and training to clients and customers. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, answering questions about product functionality and providing guidance on product implementation and maintenance.

Conducting product training sessions for individual clients and larger groups of customers and vendors is also a part. Providing technical support and training helps to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, which can help drive long-term sales and revenue growth.

• Sales: Generate leads, follow up with customers, secure orders, negotiate prices, and complete sales
• Technical: Research, develop, and modify products to meet customer needs
• Communication: Collaborate with sales executives, communicate client needs to R&D teams, and deliver presentations and demos
• Customer satisfaction: Contribute to customer satisfaction and overall sales team success
• Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules.
• Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
• Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements

• Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
• Sales and Marketing experience (Minimum 5 years)
• Knowledge of the steel industry or related sectors
• Proven track record selling Industrial products
• Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Solid technical background with an understanding of the manufacturing industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation and creativity skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field
• Willingness to travel
