Associate Manager - Accounts Receivable

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Customer Accounts: Maintain accurate records of all customer transactions, including invoices, payments, and balances.
• Invoice Processing: Generate and send out invoices to clients based on services rendered or products sold, ensuring that all GST is appropriately applied.
• Collections: Follow up with customers on overdue accounts, negotiate payment terms, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Payment Recording: Post payments to the appropriate accounts, ensuring all records are up to date.
• GST and TDS Management: Ensure proper calculation, application, and reporting of GST on invoices and payments. Manage the withholding and reporting of TDS as per applicable laws.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of AR accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries regarding billing issues, GST/TDS concerns, and account status in a professional and timely manner.
• Reporting & MIS: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, or annual accounts receivable reports for management review, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and tax-related reporting.
• Cash Management: Ensure accurate cash handling and deposit processing, assist with managing cash flow in coordination with the finance team.
• SAP Knowledge: Utilize SAP or other accounting systems for invoicing, reporting, managing accounts receivable, and handling GST and TDS entries.
• Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis, report generation, and creating complex financial models.
