Job Description
- Production Planning:
Develop and implement production schedules for weaving operations based on customer orders and production capacity. Coordinate with sales, design, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between demand and production. Monitor order flow to prioritize urgent or high-value jobs.
- Material Management:
Ensure timely procurement and availability of yarns, dyes, and other weaving-related materials. Manage inventory levels to minimize wastage while maintaining production efficiency.
- Resource Allocation:
Optimize the utilization of weaving machines, looms, and workforce to ensure smooth operations. Monitor downtime and implement corrective actions to reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Production Monitoring and Control:
Track daily and weekly production progress against planned schedules. Analyze weaving production data to identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement. Implement quality control checks to ensure defect-free output.
- Coordination: Act as the communication link between weaving, dyeing, finishing, and other production departments. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure machines are in optimal condition.
- Reporting:
Prepare and maintain production reports, including efficiency metrics, wastage, and downtime analysis. Report deviations from plans and recommend corrective measures to management.
- Compliance and Standards:
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Stay updated with industry best practices in weaving and textile production planning.
