About EquiLead

EquiLead, a Climate Asia initiative, is dedicated to empowering women and advancing their careers into leadership roles within the social impact and nonprofit sectors. Its core mission is to create more opportunities for women, especially those in mid-career, to step into leadership positions and play a pivotal role in driving positive change. Recognizing the distinct challenges women encounter in their career journeys, EquiLead focuses on addressing these barriers by offering targeted support, resources, and development opportunities.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support in driving this initiative, someone who is passionate about gender equity, understands the social impact landscape, and can connect the right talent with the right opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Sourcing

  • Proactively identify and engage with women professionals in mid-career and leadership positions across the social sector.

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including networking, social media, partnerships, and sector-specific databases to build a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of women professionals seeking leadership roles in the impact sector.

2. Community Mobilization Candidate Engagement

  • Develop and implement strategies to reach and attract women in mid-career stages or those with leadership potential who are underrepresented in social impact leadership roles.

  • Build relationships with professional networks, advocacy groups, and organizations that support women in leadership across sectors.

  • Conduct outreach, events, and mentorship programs to support and prepare women for leadership placements.

  • Develop candidate engagement strategies to ensure ongoing support and career progression.

2. Recruitment Candidate Mapping

  • Work closely with EquiLeads recruitment team to match candidates with the right employers.

  • Create a structured talent mapping and placement strategy to ensure a seamless hiring process.

  • Develop tools and methodologies for assessing candidate fit for various leadership roles.

3. Employer Stakeholder Engagement

  • Actively network with founders, CXOs, and hiring teams in the impact sector to advocate for hiring women leaders.

  • Pitch EquiLeads value proposition to potential employers, showcasing the benefit impact of gender-diverse leadership teams.

  • Collaborate with organizations to design inclusive hiring strategies and ensure long-term career growth for placed candidates.

4. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy Program Growth

  • Develop a strategic roadmap for engaging both employers and job seekers to meet the placements goal.

  • Identify and implement innovative outreach models (e.g., partnerships, social media campaigns, leadership development programs).

  • Build a scalable employment and talent-matching model that ensures a continuous supply of leadership opportunities for women.

  • Creativity Marketing Acumen: Understanding of branding, storytelling, and outreach to drive visibility and engagement.

  • Entrepreneurial Approach: Ability to build and scale a program from the ground up in a lean, fast-paced environment.
