We are looking for an Associate Program Management Group for one of our esteemed clients, a well-established non-profit organization working in the education sector. The organization has been a pioneer in delivering quality education to children and youth across India and has received multiple prestigious awards for its impactful work.

Role Overview

The Associate Program Management Group will play a critical role in supporting program implementation, tracking progress, managing donor relationships, and ensuring operational efficiency. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive impact across various educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support

• Assist state and program heads in annual planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with donor commitments.
• Provide ongoing operational support by coordinating with state, program, and central teams to address emerging needs.
• Facilitate internal processes such as proposals, reports, documentation, and cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth program execution.

Program Review Monitoring

• Track program implementation and financial expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved plans.
• Prepare internal reports and document program activities to strengthen institutional knowledge.
• Engage with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders for advocacy and partnership efforts.

Donor Management

• Develop proposals for potential donors, including project objectives, implementation models, budgeting, and reporting structures.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for donors, ensuring timely communication and progress updates.
• Coordinate donor visits and other engagement activities to strengthen relationships and showcase program impact.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the private sector, NGOs, or foundations.
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural Maharashtra with limited amenities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders across academic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, or at least one other regional language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic and unstructured environment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Deep understanding of the broader education landscape in India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the non-profit sector.
• Academic background in international development or management.
• Experience working in rural or underprivileged communities.
