We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist with 3-5 years of experience in IT sales to join our dynamic sales team.
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, managing leads, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT solutions, software, or services, and the ability to present and sell these to potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, social media, and other channels to drive the sales pipeline for IT solutions.
- Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate the company's IT solutions, including software, hardware, cloud services, and IT support offerings to potential clients, aligning their needs with the products/services.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead qualification to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-up, managing the pipeline, and utilizing CRM systems (e.g, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their IT needs and providing solutions that align with their business goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical team to provide customized IT solutions for clients and assist in responding to technical inquiries during the sales process.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position and sell the company's products and services.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, track KPIs, and forecast sales figures accurately.
- Share insights with management to support strategy development.
- Customer Support & Follow-up: Offer exceptional post-sale support by ensuring client satisfaction, handling queries, and ensuring smooth onboarding for IT solutions.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven inside sales experience in IT sales (software, IT solutions, or related technology).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT products and services (e.g , cybersecurity, SaaS, enterprise software).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g , Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with sales methodologies (e.g, SPIN Selling, Solution Selling, etc.
- Ability to identify and understand client needs in a technical context and translate them into appropriate solutions.
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes in the IT industry.
Education: Bachelor's/ Masters degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
Other: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
